We’d like to thank the Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Anjana Patel, for joining us to reveal the names of the parklets on St Anns Road on Saturday.
Amanda chose the name ‘๐Š๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ž’๐ฌ ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐ซ’ and won herself a ยฃ50 shopping voucher. She very kindly requested that half of her prize be donated to one of our favourite charities, so Julian from ๐…๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ ๐…๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง gratefully accepted a ยฃ25 voucher to help support their work with local homeless individuals.
The parklet opposite Santander has been named ‘๐‡๐š๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ ๐†๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐ซ’ and The Mayor unveiled the name after cutting the ribbon.
It was great to meet members of the public, including Andrew and his beautiful African Grey parrot, Pippin, who were out enjoying the nice weather and making use of this colourful and inviting space.
