Motorists can help to secure their vehicles at an upcoming catalytic converter marking session organised by Harrow Council.
The event will start at 9am on 24th November 2021 at the Greenhill Way Car Park and be conducted on a first come, first served basis.
Police are planning to mark 75 catalytic converters on the day.
Officers have learned from previous events that there might be a large number of vehicles turning up in the same time, so residents will need to get a ticket and their details to be processed prior to the marking, which takes some time.
The plan is to lead the vehicles into the blue marked area, where they can park and have their details collected.
After that, according to their ticket number they will move into the green area, where the Hi-Q van will be placed and the mechanic will do the marking.
As soon as the marking is done, the vehicles will leave the area following the red arrows.
Every marking takes around 4 to 5 minutes.
